It seems the option was left there from earlier times but now no longer user or needed.
The second commit removes some files which were creating problems for me and were preventing the sound from working.
Removing this stale config from wireplumber made everything work as in should.

As for removing WirePlumber/PulseAudio files, is reboot not helping with that problem?

Honestly it's been a while but from what I remember no, a reboot was not helping, I tried that. Only after actually removing these files did it actually work.

This could have been caused by pipewire/wireplumber defaulting to Pro Audio and keeping that profile even after UCM becomes available. The script now installs a config which disables Pro Audio, so your issue may be fixed now.

OK , I could try to reinstall maybe and see what happens. I'll give it a shot these days.
Anyway thanks for this, it really made my audio work. Too bad it's not out of the box, it would help some less technical people I guess.
