CHANGELOG.md stopped at 2.0.0 even though 2.0.1, 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 had shipped. Add those entries using the actual GitHub publication dates and changes between release tags, including the 2.1.1 monitor shutdown deadlock fix. Link each version to its release and keep GCS and the proxy read-your-writes barrier under Unreleased.
Validation: compare entries with the release metadata, tag diffs and docs/RELEASE_2_1.md; independent accuracy review; git diff --check; node scripts/release-version.js --check. This changes only CHANGELOG.md and preserves version files, release tags and published assets.
