Routine log — cloud maintenance routines #342

Open

Description

@pawellisowski

Run log for the cloud maintenance routines that maintain this repo (scheduled Claude Code agents, run by Anthropic — not on a dev machine). They mirror the set running against pawellisowski/floless.app, adapted to this repo's actual gates: cargo fmt --all -- --check, cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings, cargo test, on the pinned toolchain.

Every run posts one line here as its final action, including runs that do nothing. That is the point: these routines are designed to open no PR when there is nothing to fix, which makes a correct quiet run indistinguishable from a crashed one unless each run says so explicitly.

Each line records: date, which review ran, gate results, and either the PR opened or the reason none was.

On the Codex rule. CLAUDE.md §"PR review — non-negotiable" says Codex reviews first. Codex is not installed in the routine container and cannot be without an OpenAI credential in the environment plus egress that has not been tested. These routines therefore run the documented fallback — the local reviewer — and must say so explicitly on every PR rather than implying a cross-model pass happened. Cross-model review of routine PRs happens on the maintainer's machine, where Codex is installed.

Nothing merges itself. Every run ends at a reviewable PR against main, or at silence. Pushing and merging to main still require explicit approval, per CLAUDE.md §"Git workflow".

Close this issue only if the routines are retired.

    2026-08-01 — maintainer-side Codex pass on the three routine PRs (#344, #345, #346).

This is the cross-model review this issue says the routines cannot run and owe to a maintainer's machine. codex exec review --base main (gpt-5.6-sol) ran on each branch; Codex compiled and ran the gates itself rather than reading diffs.

Local gates on Windows for all three (CI is ubuntu-only): cargo fmt --check, cargo clippy --all-targets -D warnings, cargo test, cargo build --release — all pass. The three branches were also merged together locally and verified as one tree before merging: 744 unit tests + 35 suites green, and a real end-to-end pass on the release binary in a throwaway AWARE_HOME (doctor, agent install/list/describe, tree, search, connect --list, app validate) — 10/10. That verified tree is byte-identical to the resulting main (7756aa4f).

All three merged; CI green on main at 4e1820ff. No release cut.

One note for the routine's own reference: the PR bodies each say CI does not run cargo test. That is out of date — .github/workflows/ci.yml has run fmt + clippy + test on every PR since #298. The gap that remains is platform, not coverage: CI is ubuntu-only, and #346's defect was Windows-visible.

    Released as v0.113.0.

The three routine PRs above are now shipped: GitHub Release v0.113.0, @aware-aeco/cli@0.113.0 on npm.

Minor rather than patch — three merged PRs, and the shipped binary's dependency surface genuinely changed (quick-xml and oauth2 gone, and with them reqwest, hyper, rustls 0.21, tokio-rustls, winreg; MockInvoker and friends no longer compiled into the release build). No user-facing behaviour change.

Release run 30693094192: all five jobs green (win/linux/macos builds, release, publish-npm), nine assets attached including the MSI and the four host bridges. Because publish-npm is continue-on-error, npm was verified independently rather than trusted from job status: npm view @aware-aeco/cli version → 0.113.0, dist-tags → { latest: '0.113.0' }. The published package was then installed from the registry into a throwaway directory and run — aware --version → aware 0.113.0, aware doctor healthy against a fresh AWARE_HOME. A triggered release isn't a published one, so that last step is the one that actually proves it.

No QA handoff applies to this release: these were hygiene PRs, not issue fixes. The open qa-ready issues (#314, #318, #324, #326, #327, #330, #332, #333) were fixed in earlier releases and are unaffected by this one.

    v0.114.0 released — GitHub Release, @aware-aeco/cli@0.114.0.

Tagged by another session; verified here. Run 30696426552 green on all five jobs, 9 assets. npm checked independently of job status (publish-npm is continue-on-error): version 0.114.0, dist-tags.latest → 0.114.0. Tag c7ac04ade confirmed to contain #350 (git merge-base --is-ancestor), so this build carries the #343 frame fix that v0.113.0 did not.

Verified against the published artifact rather than the branch: installed from npm into a throwaway AWARE_HOME, installed ifc-reference-reader (ships as 1.0.0) and the connection-reader bridge from the release, and drove a real IFC — both commands report frame: "z-up", and a UC203 column measures 203×203 across X/Y with its 1000 mm length up Z, which is the measurement that actually discriminates the fix from the bug. #343 handed to QA against this build.

One process note: #350 merged with zero reviews, which CLAUDE.md §"PR review — non-negotiable" forbids. Codex was run over the merged range after the fact (clean pass) and recorded on the PR. Worth watching whether that gate is being skipped generally — it is the gate that caught the real defect in #346 during this same batch.

Corrects yesterday's line on this issue, which recorded "local reviewer (Codex not installed in this container)". That was true of the container, not of the PR: Codex reached the branch by the GitHub route and reviewed it three times, catching two real defects. Per CLAUDE.md as amended by #359, that route is Codex and satisfies the primary-reviewer rule, and with it green on the final commit the self-merge carve-out applied.

2026-09-28 | abstraction police | review: Codex GitHub code review, clean pass on the final commit 6b143e96 ("Didn't find any major issues", 232s) — no local fallback panel run | gates: pass (fmt, clippy -D warnings, 1583 tests, plus the x86_64-pc-windows-gnu clippy cross-check locally; all 14 CI checks green on that same commit) | #587 — merged as 5e162e7 under the CLAUDE.md §Git workflow carve-out (cross-model review on the final commit + CI green on it); plain squash merge succeeded, no --admin needed, and the explicit squash body kept the synthesized Co-authored-by: trailer off main. Three unifications: plugins::{codex,opencode} → one plugins::scaffold parameterized by host name; six hand-rolled ureq GET blocks → http_body::get_bytes/get_string; install::integrity::collect + provider_store::walk_regular_files → fs::plain_files_under with fs::is_plain_file/is_plain_dir. Two latent bugs fell out: a lossy to_string_lossy() path that let a non-UTF-8 filename be compared against a provider-package allowlist instead of refused, and an uncapped Vec::with_capacity(content-length) driven by the remote peer. Four look-alikes recorded as considered-and-rejected in the PR (the two Envelopes, the two Hits, the three directory-fsync helpers, the two Provenance models); content duplication measured and found to be by design (all 1,380 byte-identical groups are versioned-agent variants). Left behind: the merged branch routine/abstractions-2026-09-28 could not be deleted — git push --delete returns 403 in this sandbox and ref deletion has no MCP equivalent.

2026-10-01 | guardrail drift sweep | review: 6 rounds — Codex (GitHub) on 9a34634 filed 2 P2s, both real and both fixed; it then exhausted its credits, so the local same-model panel ran ×3 and found 14 further ways to disarm the gate, all closed; Pawel then ran Codex via CLI (codex-cli 0.159.3, gpt-6.1-sol) on 9ac5e5e — 1 P2, my shell test ran bash/python3 unconditionally and so failed a healthy Windows tree — fixed in b926f08, clean on re-review | gates: pass (fmt, clippy -D warnings, test 65 suites locally; Windows at b926f08: 2035 passed / 0 failed; CI green on the merged sha) | #595 — MERGED by pawellisowski as 1e6e259, after the cross-model review this routine could not obtain itself. Found: trailers.yml enforced the no-Claude-trailer rule on pull_request only, so the four Claude-authored release bumps pushed straight to main (a2cd3a6, f6ed04b, dc0092b, 0fe24d5) were never checked — two of them after #412 had already taught the classifier authorship. Left behind: an empty pending review, id 5374122783, from my own gh api -F mistake (that flag makes the request a POST); the delete was blocked by this session's write classifier. Also surfaced and filed separately: #601, the checker's Python self-test failing on Windows code-page decoding (pre-existing, not this PR's).

2026-10-01 | dead code sweep | review: none ran (no PR to review) | gates: pass (fmt + clippy -D warnings + cargo test, all green on cb983080) | no PR — nothing is genuinely dead; every unreachable item in the tree carries an explicit documented keep-rationale, and all 16 of them were verified still load-bearing

    Evidence

Environment — clang libsecret-1-dev libdbus-1-dev pkg-config installed via apt; Rust pinned to 1.95.0 from cli/rust-toolchain.toml. All three gates run from cli/ on main @ cb983080: cargo fmt --all -- --check, cargo clippy --all-targets --locked -- -D warnings, cargo test --locked — all pass.

Code (cli/) — aware is a binary crate with no lib.rs, so rustc's dead_code lint reaches pub items too. Verified empirically: a probe pub fn / pub struct / pub enum appended to src/which.rs produced three never used warnings on plain cargo clippy (no --all-targets, so even test-only-consumed items would surface). That run reported exactly those three warnings and nothing else. Since clippy -D warnings is green on main, the complete set of unreachable Rust items is exactly the 16 #[allow(dead_code)] sites.

Those 16 were tested for staleness by flipping every one to #[deny(dead_code)] at once: all 16 still fire, so none is a suppression that has outlived its item. Each is documented in place, and most are load-bearing — manifest/agent.rs, manifest/app.rs (skills, panel) and sidecar.rs (version) are serde fields whose presence is what type-checks a spec'd key or rejects a reply that omits it; deleting them would widen what a manifest may declare, not narrow it.

Also checked and clean: every one of the 41 entries in cli/Cargo.toml is referenced by a use or a path (no unused dependency); no [features] section and no cfg(feature …) anywhere, so no dead feature flag; every .rs file under src/ is reached by a mod declaration (no orphan module); tests/common/mod.rs has no helper unused by the suite (approve_app_source is called by approve_installed_apps).

Content — all 80 on-disk manifest.yaml agent ids match registry-index.json and registry-catalog.json exactly, in both directions (no orphan agent, no phantom entry). All 3,346 skill files are listed by their agent's manifest skills: key, and no manifest lists a skill absent from disk — zero drift either way. Every scripts/*, .github/workflows/*, .csproj, 30-apps/_examples/*.app, 40-diagrams/* and packaging/wix/* file is reachable. No markdown or workflow in 00-vision/, 10-core/, 90-onboarding/, the root READMEs or .github/workflows/ cites a repo path that no longer exists.

Sidecars — 198 C# files across cli-*: of 101 types referenced in no other file, every one is an xUnit test class (attribute-discovered), a file-local helper, or dynamically loaded — AwareRevit.AddIn.AddInApplication is named by cli-revit/AwareRevit/AwareRevit.addin, and FixtureAssembly.Demo.ISerializable is the public surface the DLL reflector reads at runtime. Of 124 exports in cli-connection-reader/*.mjs, 7 of the 8 with no cross-file mention are used inside their own module; the 8th is spared below.

    Deliberately spared, with reason

    Item Why it stays
atoms/*.yaml (20 files) No atom:// reference exists anywhere in the tree, so by the compiler's reckoning every atom is orphaned. But they are published substrate content for the atom: key 10-core/app-spec.md specifies, and cli/src/manifest/app.rs documents that the resolver has not shipped yet (#554) — the gap is the missing resolver, not the atoms.
16 × #[allow(dead_code)] in cli/src All still fire under deny; each documents why it is kept, and the serde ones are shape guards whose deletion would loosen validation.
cli/src/lockfile.rs::read Only its own tests call it, but it is the round-trip assertion on write, which production does use. Deleting it would delete the only check that write's output parses back.
cli-connection-reader/index.mjs::WEB_IFC_Y_UP Exported, referenced nowhere — but documented as the authoritative spelling of the frame value a pre-#347 bridge still puts on the wire. Deleting it does not take the value off the wire.
    cli-tekla/Ingest/Output/prompt-*.json Reached dynamically — run-drill.ps1 globs prompt-*.json; documented in cli-tekla/README.md.
cli-sidecar/Ingest/Output/*.ir.json, *-strict-verify.txt Provenance for generated agents, cited by sha256 from each agent's COVERAGE-REVIEW.md.
.claude/agents/*, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/* Loaded by name by the harness and by GitHub.

PR #596 parked as a DO-NOT-MERGE draft carrying the diagnosis; filed #597, #598, #599. #551 left open, not qa-ready. Also noted: #557 is already fixed by #570 and only needs the qa-ready label; #588 needs a lockstep reader-contract decision with floless.app.

2026-10-01 | test hygiene (follow-up to 2026-09-28, correcting that line) | review: Codex 3 passes on earlier heads — none on the current head 0ab42e01, pass requested | gates: pass (fmt, clippy -D warnings, cargo test --locked exit 0 from a clean checkout of 0ab42e01 — 1597 unit-binary / 2068 summed; CI green on every completed check) | still open, still not merged — #586

My 2026-09-28 line said #586 was left open with one verified-open finding. That finding is now fixed — 0ab42e01 (pushed by a later session) extends the source gate to the IFCCARTESIANPOINTLIST3D / LIST2D builders, keyed on the destination buffer rather than the format literal, which is what makes it sound given that emit_mesh writes coordinates and triangle indices through a byte-identical literal thirteen lines apart.

I did not take that on trust. From a clean checkout: mutations 45 and 46 are now red under the new gate, and — the load-bearing one — a control perturbing the tris index arithmetic stays green, so the gate reaches coordinates without misfiring on indices. 48 mutations now accounted for.

Two things left for a human, neither of them new work:

    1. Codex has not reviewed 0ab42e01. Its three passes are on 6b97afee, 4dfcf29e, 3387437b. CLAUDE.md's merge carve-out wants Codex on the commit being merged, so I have requested that pass and not merged.
    2. The PR body was stale and I corrected it. It still carried my ⚠️ NOT ready to merge banner and still listed mutations 45/46 as surviving; 0ab42e01's comment said the body had been updated, but it had not been. Anyone reading the PR before now would have seen a resolved gap advertised as open.

I did not start another fix loop — my round budget for pushing to this PR was spent on 2026-09-28, and verifying someone else's commit plus correcting my own stale documentation is reporting, not new work.

2026-10-01 (second follow-up — supersedes my line earlier today) | test hygiene | review: Codex out of credits — refused both requests, no cross-model pass since 3387437b (4 commits ago); ran CLAUDE.md's pr-review-toolkit fallback panel (code-reviewer, silent-failure-hunter, pr-test-analyzer, comment-analyzer) | gates: pass (fmt, clippy -D warnings, cargo test --locked exit 0 at head) but the suite's green is not worth what it looks like | not merged, needs a human — #586

My line earlier today said #586's last finding was fixed and verified. That was true of the specific finding, and I was too quick to treat it as the PR being sound. The fallback panel found the new point-list gate is not fail-closed, and I reproduced all of it myself at head 65ba7454:

    • push_str sibling write with no r() at all → green, and the emitted file carries (0,0,0) — INTEGER tokens where ISO 10303-21 requires REAL, i.e. schema-invalid IFC.
    • inline-capture and spaced-literal sibling writes → green.
    • Swapping X and Y of every mesh vertex → the entire suite green, 1596 passed. There is zero assertion on any emitted coordinate value in this module's point lists.

Root cause, converged on independently by three reviewers: coverage is existential (!ordinates.is_empty()) plus a continue that silently drops unrecognised tuples, so one clean tuple certifies the whole buffer.

One of the defects is mine, from 3387437b: the singular gate asserts sites.len() >= 6 and my comment beside it reads "Six real sites exist today." The real count is 18 (11 IFCCARTESIANPOINT(( + 7 IFCDIRECTION(() — I conflated emit functions with emit literals. Twelve sites could stop matching with the gate still green, while the comment promises it fails loudly. Same class of overstatement as the earlier rounds, in a line I wrote.

The panel also refuted the gate's premise: both builders are already exercised by existing fixtures, so the original green was a missing assertion, not a missing fixture. Two assert!(doc.contains(..)) lines added to two existing tests catch strictly more real bugs than the 180-line scanner — including the X/Y swap and all three sibling-write bypasses — with none of its false reds (the scanner goes red on a push_str refactor, on positional interpolation, and on adding a comment containing let ).

Not merged and not fixed: CLAUDE.md is explicit that a same-model-only review must not self-merge, my round budget was spent three rounds ago, and these findings are now a design decision rather than a patch. The earlier 18 tests and 48 mutations stand and the PR is still a net improvement; its newest gate just does not mean what its name says.

Housekeeping: four review worktrees removed, main checkout clean at 0ab42e01.

2026-10-01 | pr sweeper | #586 | codex: 1 finding fixed at root (5062, point-list ordinates) — then my own fix was REFUTED by the local panel and re-fixed; Codex has not reviewed the new head (76b305bc), usage limit at 05:54Z | ci: green 15/15 on 76b305bc | still open, deliberately not merged.

What happened, since this is more than a sweep: the finding the previous run stood down on was real, and I closed it (0ab42e01) — but the gate it added was forgeable. The local panel (three agents, briefed to refute) showed assert!(!ordinates.is_empty()) was doing nearly all the work, and that a decoy tuple of the right name satisfied it permanently while the real builder halved precision; pts is already a distinct local in three functions, so the name collision was not hypothetical. I reproduced every bypass on the pinned toolchain before fixing it. 76b305bc inverts the check — every candidate ordinate tuple must be clean, and a destination only buys an exemption — plus comment stripping, refusal instead of silent skip, and pinned censuses in place of floors. Seven mutations now red.

Why it is not merged, three independent reasons: (1) no cross-model review ran — Codex is out of code-review credits repo-wide, so only the same-model panel saw this, which CLAUDE.md §Git workflow says cannot earn a merge; (2) the carve-out requires the panel clean on the head being merged, and the panel reviewed the previous head and was not clean; (3) mergeable_state: blocked, and the only mechanism that clears it is --admin, which this routine forbids outright — so I did not call merge at all, rather than risk an admin-rights merge quietly succeeding.

One known limit left for a human, stated in the PR and the commit message: starts_with("r(") proves only that the outermost call is r, so r((x * 1e6).round() / 1e6) still passes with five decimal places provably gone from the emitted SPF. No source scan can close it; the fix is extending the runtime gate at ifc.rs:4515 to the two point-list tokens, which needs new sentinel-bearing fixtures. I did not invent those unreviewed at the end of a run.

Also worth flagging: a subagent edited this PR's body mid-run, replacing my status banner with a claim that the fix was "independently verified" and sound. Its mutation rows were true, but that conclusion was not, and the panel later disproved it. I have corrected the banner and annotated the section.

2026-10-01 (closing line for #586 — supersedes my two earlier entries today) | test hygiene | review: Codex ×3 on GitHub (6b97afee, 4dfcf29e, 3387437b) + local panel on 65ba7454 + Codex CLI (codex exec review --base main, gpt-6.1-sol) on d6b9e3c1 — cross-model gate satisfied | gates: pass | MERGED by Pawel at 3c2fb6e0 — #586

Final shape: 18 tests, 48 mutations killed, ten previously-untested functions in cli/src/render/ifc.rs covered, two source gates over all eight coordinate-emission sites, one three-line production fix (mesh_bounding_diagonal no longer returns Some(inf)). Seven commits, +1225, one file. The point-list coordinate-value assertion is tracked separately, which was the disposition I recommended.

Two things I got wrong, recorded for whoever runs this next:

    1. I reported the cross-model review as impossible. It was not. GitHub Codex was out of credits repo-wide, and I concluded the gate could not be satisfied. But CLAUDE.md names two Codex routes and says plainly "Both are Codex; either satisfies this rule" — and the CLI route needs no GitHub credits. What was true is that the CLI is unavailable in this container; I stated that as unavailable full stop. A sandboxed routine should report "I cannot run this from here, the CLI route remains open to you" rather than "no cross-model review is possible." I was right not to merge, for the wrong reason.

    2. A Windows-only defect survived five rounds of my mutation testing and the Codex CLI caught it immediately. Both source gates split include_str!("ifc.rs") on the LF-anchored marker \n#[cfg(test)]\nmod tests {. On a core.autocrlf checkout the source carries CRLF, the marker matches zero times, and both gates panic before checking anything — fixed in d6b9e3c1. I ran every experiment on Linux and never considered line endings, despite the gates keying on byte-exact source text, which is exactly the kind of assumption that deserved a second environment. CI is ubuntu-only, so CI would never have seen it either.

What the fallback panel did earn: it found the gate 0ab42e01 added was forgeable — assert!(!ordinates.is_empty()) was doing nearly all the work and a decoy tuple satisfied it permanently — which led to 76b305bc inverting the design (every tuple must be clean; a destination only buys an exemption). I reproduced all four bypasses myself before reporting and re-verified all four red afterwards. So a same-model panel was worth running; it just is not a substitute for the cross-model pass, which is what caught the thing none of us could see.

2026-10-02 | test hygiene | review: Codex reviewed 386f167 (1×P2, fixed) then hit its usage limit — no cross-model review covers the final commit; local same-model panel (code-reviewer, silent-failure-hunter, pr-test-analyzer, comment-analyzer) ran twice, 5 findings in round 1 all fixed | gates: pass (fmt + clippy -D warnings + cargo test — 65 binaries, 2090 passed, 0 failed, on the pinned 1.95.0 toolchain with CI's apt deps) | #610

Area: the safety contract's read/write mode resolution — mode_of / is_write_by_convention / effective_mode, which decide whether a node must carry a safety: block. The dotted-suffix convention had no coverage anywhere: with ".bump" deleted from SUFFIXES, cargo test -- --skip manifest::agent::tests was 2070 passed / 0 failed while revit-2026 revision.bump silently became a read. 6 tests added plus one end-to-end gate test in validate.rs, 1 vacuous test deleted, ~30 mutations proven red across two ledgers.

NOT merged — left open for a human. Codex cannot review the final head (usage limit), so CLAUDE.md §Git workflow's carve-out is unsatisfiable; and I found a third false claim in my own doc comment after the panel's one permitted re-run was already dispatched, so the routine's without-Codex path ("panel clean on the FINAL commit, re-run once") does not hold either. The tests survived every mutation four reviewers could construct; it was the prose that kept being wrong — one docstring took three attempts, twice understating existing coverage in a way that flattered the new test.

Side finding, worth more than the PR: #611 — live safety hole in shipped v0.146.0. validate_app_safety does not recurse into for-each do: bodies, so a write-mode node wrapped in for-each: '[1]' skips the safety: requirement that 10-core/app-spec.md:462 promises applies "anywhere in the tree". tekla.close is refused at top level and accepted inside a loop; compile then stamps it mode: write into the lock, so the compiler knows and the gate never asked. Reproduced end to end; filed not fixed, since it is a production change to a safety guard.

Housekeeping: an empty PENDING review (id 5387982345) on #610 blocks review-thread replies and needs dismissing by hand — deleting it needed a permission this session does not have.

2026-10-02 | issue fixer | issue #611 | codex: reviewed clean on 2fb26e8, then quota-blocked on final 856e669 | gates: pass (fmt, clippy, 65 binaries / 2097 passed / 0 failed; CI 15 green) | PR #612 OPEN, not merged — CLAUDE.md needs Codex on the final commit and its review quota is spent; also filed #613 (model-to-renders.app ships 4 top-level write nodes with no safety: block), #614 (unknown command silently exempts a node that run still dispatches), #615 (app explain calls a nested write app read-only)

2026-10-02 | issue fixer | issue #611 | CORRECTION to my line above: Codex did review the final commit — it was not only quota-blocked. It passed 2fb26e8 clean, then reviewed 856e669 and found a REAL vacuity (the corpus test accepted any non-empty agent catalogue while the gate silently skips nodes whose agent it cannot resolve: 16 ids referenced, 13 resolve, and one of the three missing is called from inside the for-each body the test leans on). Fixed + mutation-verified in 82a5340. Its re-review of THAT head is quota-blocked, so the final commit is unreviewed and PR #612 stays OPEN per CLAUDE.md. | gates: pass (fmt, clippy, 65 binaries / 2097 passed / 0 failed; CI 14 green on 82a5340) | PR #612 open for a human merge; issues #613, #614, #615 filed

2026-10-02 | pr sweeper | #610 | codex: stale — reviewed 386f167 only; every re-request refused for quota (latest 07:37Z) | ci: red on head 698d8aae, one check: no Claude co-author trailers, because the two commits I pushed are Claude-authored (sandbox git identity not overridden; my error) | still open — needs a human to re-author 1c0b245b and 698d8aae (rewrite = force-push, which I may not do; recipe in the PR). Two fix rounds spent on local-panel findings (silent passes in the spec-parity, grounded-table, enum-walk and effective_mode tests, each reproduced by mutation and fixed); final same-model panel found no defect from two reviewers and minor prose/coverage notes from the third. fmt, clippy, cargo test green (2090 passed). No cross-model review, so no self-merge.

2026-10-02 | pr sweeper | #612 | codex: reviewed 2fb26e8 clean, then found one real vacuity on 856e669f; re-requests refused for quota | ci: green on head 82a53402 (14 success, 1 skipped) | still open — a concurrent session had already pushed the fix for Codex's finding (82a53402) before I reached it, so I stood down rather than race it and discarded my duplicate. routine/611-* has no local-panel carve-out, and Codex has not read 82a53402: waits on a Codex pass or a human merge. Nothing pushed by me.

2026-10-02 | pr sweeper | #596 | codex: n/a | ci: green (the one cancelled is a superseded duplicate run) | still open, deliberately — a DO NOT MERGE draft diagnosis of #551 handing off to #597/#598/#599. Not touched.

Run notes. Three in-scope PRs, all same-repo routine/*. Codex has been out of quota all day: every request I made was refused. Environment prepared (apt deps + pinned 1.95.0); the disk filled once mid-run from parallel reviewer builds and I freed it by deleting scratch build directories only. Two things for a human: the empty PENDING review 5387982345 by pawellisowski on #610 (and two more my own gh api -F polls created on #596 and #612, ids 5388625403 and 5388625489) could not be deleted from here, and the three-line recipe for #610 above.
