OMP's structured ask dialog is enabled per native session and an ask is posted to the room as this turn's reply, mentioning the requester, with the questions, options and recommendations rendered together. The native tool receives an acknowledgement rather than a fabricated answer; the participant's reply arrives as a later message in the same session, so the room's serial queue is never blocked and the prompt is not aborted. A failed post returns an error explanation to the model; a stop for this room ends the turn. Shutdown refuses new UI and host-tool callbacks.

Why
OMP's structured ask dialog is how the model asks the user a question. Waiting for the participant inside the current turn would block the room's serial message queue so the answer could never be processed, and cancelling the dialog aborts the whole native prompt.

set_ask_dialog; startup fails if OMP refuses it.Scope
Stacked on the native room-scoped MCP PR. Covers the active room's ask dialog, not forwarded subagent UI. Requires the native pin (ask dialog shipped in OMP 18.4.9). Replaces #795.
