Summary

  • Add Light / Dark / System app appearance for DockTerm chrome (hosts, drawers, modals)
  • Keep terminal themes separate: remember per SSH host (and Local), or Follow app theme
  • Decouple session UI from terminal palette; Monaco config editor follows app appearance
  • Bump version to 1.0.3 for the next desktop release

Test plan

  • Switch Light / Dark / System in the title bar; chrome updates on hosts and session
  • System tracks macOS appearance changes
  • Open SSH host A, pick a terminal theme → new tab to A keeps it; host B follows app default
  • Choose Follow app theme → connection tracks light/dark again
  • Local terminal theme is independent of SSH hosts
  • Split panes with different hosts show different xterm palettes
  • Config editor (~/.ssh/config) uses vs / vs-dark with app theme

Decouple DockTerm chrome from the terminal theme so hosts and drawers follow appearance prefs, while SSH/local sessions remember their own palette or fall back to the app light/dark default.
