Why

#26 and #27 were merged 12 s apart. Both ci runs fetched gh-pages at 75c32d5. The #27 run pushed first (75c32d5..cf29bc5), and the #26 run's mkdocs gh-deploy push was then rejected as non-fast-forward:

! [rejected]        gh-pages -> gh-pages (fetch first)

Nothing was lost: cf29bc5 is built from 415c8cf, which includes #26.

What

A concurrency group on the workflow, so a second deploy waits for the first one instead of racing it. cancel-in-progress: false never stops a push halfway through. If several runs queue up, GitHub keeps only the newest pending one, which builds the newest main anyway.

The YAML parses; the change takes effect on the next push to main.

Merging #26 and #27 seconds apart started two deploys that both fetched
gh-pages at 75c32d5; the second push was rejected as non-fast-forward.
A concurrency group queues the second run instead.
