• --split_tables writes files for every analysed input, header-only without detections; combined Raven times run across all analysed files.
• One segment reader for all formats: reads 3.0 Audacity labels, skips blank lines and empty files, ignores header rows, pairs .BirdNET. infixes and Windows stems regardless of case.
• Balanced mode fills max_segments and keeps max_conf.
• Parameter-file headers live once in params.py and drive both writers and loaders; --rtype and --additional_columns keep their order.
