With Pullover v1.3.0 analytics was added. All data is anonymized and no personal data is ever sent! This page describes what data will be sent when and how you can disable analytics. Pullover uses Google Analytics.
Why
To better understand the users, prioritize which bugs are fixed and track what kind of errors occur. Analytics will allow me to see what errors occur on which OS how often.
Data
All data is anonymized and will never contain your username/email/password or notifications. Each event sent to Google Analytics contains the following data:
Unique client id e.g. d4a69f11-0640-460b-9bbf-179f9dceb2ea
Name of the app: Pullover
Version of the app: e.g. 1.3.0
Platform: OSX, WIN or LINUX
UserAgentString: e.g. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.167 Safari/537.36
