Applied Statistics Time Series and Risk Modeling Reproducible Analysis

Python R MATLAB MySQL PostgreSQL Jupyter Git LaTeX Markdown

I am a statistics undergraduate working on applied statistical modeling and data-driven decision analysis. My current portfolio centers on forecasting, risk measurement, survey-based inference, and reproducible analytical workflows.

My academic line is to connect statistical methods with interpretable evidence: model diagnostics, robustness checks, backtesting, and clear reporting matter as much as model fitting itself.

Research Focus

Time Series Risk Modeling Survey Analytics Decision Analytics GIS and GeoJSON

  • Time-series forecasting: SARIMA/SARIMAX, HAR-style features, volatility modeling, forecast comparison.
  • Financial risk modeling: VaR estimation, quantile regression, GARCH-family models, backtesting and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Survey and social data analysis: clustering, factor analysis, logistic regression, audience segmentation.
  • Decision analytics: TOPSIS, entropy and CRITIC weighting, sensitivity analysis, multi-objective optimization.
  • Geospatial and data validation: GIS workflows, GeoJSON processing, source verification, reproducible data packaging.

Selected Work

Financial Risk Forecasting and VaR Modeling

Built an empirical workflow for volatility and risk measurement using statistical and machine-learning methods. The project emphasizes feature design, quantile-based prediction, and backtesting rather than black-box accuracy alone.

Python Quantile Regression GARCH VaR Backtesting

Sustainable Tourism Capacity Assessment

Designed a multi-indicator framework to evaluate tourism sustainability and policy trade-offs, with a case study for tourism-pressure assessment.

MATLAB TOPSIS Entropy Weighting Sensitivity Analysis

Demand Forecasting and Warehouse Allocation

Compared forecasting models for demand volatility and used forecast outputs to support warehouse allocation and capacity planning.

Python SARIMA Random Forest GM(1,1)

Survey Analytics for Cultural IP Promotion

Cleaned and analyzed 800+ survey responses for cultural-audience research, supporting segmentation and engagement analysis.

Python R SPSS Clustering Factor Analysis
