Cause
The home TUI treated an up-to-date result from update.sh as a successful installation and unconditionally re-executed the home screen. whiptail then restored the terminal contents beneath subsequent dialogs, briefly exposing the previous CLI message (for example, the version-is-current text) during later server actions.
