  • A resource the server names after the session timed out, or before its answer failed to read, is deleted instead of left on the server. The failure is reported before that deletion runs, so a slow DELETE no longer delays it.
  • The bearer token no longer follows redirects, and an https endpoint can no longer name a plain http session resource. Other hosts stay allowed, as WHIP and WHEP permit them.
  • DELETE checks its status and reports failures to the runtime's error handler, response bodies are size-limited, and the session timer is cancelled once the session is settled.

A resource the server names after the session timed out, or before its
answer failed to read, is now deleted instead of left on the server. The
failure is reported before that deletion runs.

The bearer token no longer follows redirects or a Location that drops
TLS. DELETE checks its status and reports failures, response bodies are
size-limited, and the session timer is cancelled once it is settled.
