A worker cooperative of software developers in Madrid. We build custom software, and we publish as open source the tools we need ourselves: working tools, not demos.
EasyxLab is our research lab: open studies and verification tools for the rules software has to follow. Every tool cites the rule behind each finding, and every study publishes its method, scripts and aggregated data.
Tools
- ai-mark-lint: checks that AI-generated images, video and audio still carry the machine-readable marks required by the EU AI Act art. 50(2), California SB 942 and China's GB 45438 (C2PA, IPTC, AIGC).
- attest-lint: flags pinned PyPI dependencies whose PEP 740 attestations regressed or whose Trusted Publisher changed.
- crs-lint: lints OECD CRS XML offline against the official XSD and the Status Message business rules, citing the OECD error code.
Studies: each paper is on the web, in HTML and PDF; the method, scripts and data to reproduce it are in easyxlab.
- Valencia flood and the flood maps (S19): 51.1% of the dwellings inside the EU's Copernicus outline of the October 2024 Valencia flood lay outside every official flood zone under the reference rule; 39–62% across two flood outlines and three counting rules; counts of exposure, not of illegality.
- Young tenants' rent burden (S24): 31.5% of people aged 18–34 who had left their parents' home and rented at market price lived in households spending more than 40% of their disposable income on housing in 2025, against 42.7% in 2021.
- Homeless-centre statistics (S22): 81.3% of the 2022–2024 increase in occupied places held by adults (mean of two days) in Spain's centres for homeless people is in centres INE classes as specialised in immigrants; in the record year INE moved its definition of homelessness to the ETHOS typology and for the first time asked each centre to declare its specialisation.
- Tourist-licence numbers (S11): 6.6% of active Airbnb listings with a well-formed tourist-dwelling number in five Spanish areas with an open registry showed, in June 2026, one we could not trace to any registered dwelling.
- End of the golden visa (S21): −35.9% in home purchases by foreign non-residents in the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona in the year after Spain ended its golden visa, against the year before the end was announced (−8.5% in the rest of Spain); the two provinces were picked after a pilot, and the tests fixed in advance do not support attributing the fall to the repeal.
- AI answers on Spanish law (S7): 5.0% of Google AI Overview answers on 27 Spanish rules (26 recently changed, one control) were outdated or wrong, judged against the law in force on 2 October 2026.
- Public housing stock (S23): 318,000 dwellings let by Spain's regions and municipalities in the Ministry's 2023 survey (1.7% of households; about a fifth of the count is extrapolated by population); every national count comes from this survey or its 2019 round, and none includes the State's own stock.
- Recovery-plan housing (S20): −85.8% in the social-housing loan line at the state bank ICO that Spain committed to the EU for recovery funds, from €4,000 million (October 2023) to €567,854,983 in the proposal of 7 August 2026.
- Eviction statistics (S12): −45.4% year on year in the evictions carried out in Spain in January–March 2026, as reported by the judiciary; the fall coincides with a documented change in who counts them, and a test registered in advance is inconclusive on whether that change explains it.

- verifactu-lint: checks in CI that the invoicing records your software generates comply with Spain's Verifactu rules (RD 1007/2023 and Orden HAC/1177/2024), citing the article. Read-only: it is not invoicing software.
- hullwork: turns production errors into draft pull requests, with a person deciding every merge. Pre-alpha.
- docshield: document protection.
Every release publishes its provenance with GitHub attestations signed with short-lived OIDC credentials: you can check which commit, workflow and runner produced each artifact. Nobody holds a private signing key.
We are a cooperative: the people who build the software decide what gets built and what gets released.
