MARKET_DATA_DESIGN.md is the implementation spec for backend/app/market: the MarketDataService facade, price cache with change notification, GBM simulator, Massive poller (paid snapshot and free end-of-day modes), SSE stream, FastAPI wiring, tests and a demo script. It resolves PLAN review items 1, 2, 3, 6 and 18 and lists where it departs from the earlier research docs. The summary and archive files it referenced were removed. Reference MARKET_DATA_DESIGN.md and the research docs instead, and state that the market data code is designed but not yet implemented.
