TypeScript 7 compatibility deferral — fleet audit 2026-09-18 UTC.

The locked Astro checker requires the TypeScript programmatic API, which the TypeScript 7 native package does not provide.

astro check fails because TypeScript 7.0.2 does not expose the compiler API it requires. Upstream support is tracked at withastro/roadmap#1321.

Current head 64c7c372281fe5d6c8628add4a809bb70800a9a3 fails full CI: https://github.com/edbfi/guides/actions/runs/35395055689. This is a failed, unmerged upgrade; default-branch checks remain required. Resume after a supported compiler/tooling combination is adopted through review and the regenerated PR passes fresh full CI. Compatible dependency updates remain separate.
