Context

Stackkit mixes reusable Fx packages with an unrelated mock code-generation prototype and generated artifacts. Its setup examples also describe behavior the packages do not provide.

Summary

Focus Stackkit on the Go kits, configuration CLI, and a runnable service example.

Changes

  • Remove the Struktly prototype, fixtures, demo outputs, and compiled binary. They remain recoverable from Git history.
  • Fix the service example's context provider and share its embedded YAML with the documented CLI commands.
  • Shorten the README and correct configuration, logger, HTTP, telemetry, and shutdown documentation.
  • Pin Go and the v2 linter with mise, align the Makefile and CI linter version, keep formatting/tidy explicit, and fix CODEOWNERS syntax.

Validation

  • mise exec -- depot exec -- make all: vet, lint, and race-enabled tests passed on Go 1.24.0.
  • Built the basic service and verified /ping, /health readiness, and graceful SIGTERM shutdown on a temporary loopback port.
  • stackctl config check --all passed against the included sample configuration.
  • Gitleaks scanned 18 historical commits with no findings; a separate historical text check found no local paths or workspace references.
  • go mod tidy left the module files unchanged; git diff --check passed.

Repository visibility and Git history are unchanged. This is source preparation; no release or visibility change is included.
