Backport #634 (agent-pointer symlinks) from main to dev - #659

These were pointer files whose body just said "read AGENTS.md". That indirection has a failure mode: an agent can stop at the pointer and miss edits to AGENTS.md. A real symlink makes CLAUDE.md / GEMINI.md *be* AGENTS.md at the filesystem level, so the canonical content is always what's read. Git stores symlinks natively (mode 120000), so this travels correctly on clone. CLAUDE.md -> AGENTS.md; .gemini/GEMINI.md -> ../AGENTS.md. PR #634 (CLAUDE.md / GEMINI.md as real symlinks to AGENTS.md) was merged to
mainon June 15, contrary to the dev-only branch model — discovered while preparing the v1.0.0 release PR, whereorigin/dev..origin/mainunexpectedly showed 2 commits. This cherry-picks it onto dev so the release merge converges the branches completely instead of leaving main-only content.Cherry-pick applied clean; no dev changes touched those paths since the divergence point.
