flaw in regex_classify

regex__classify() doesn't work on "Environmental Science & Technology" (example of prominent journal that shows up a lot in example data) -- need to figure out why that is the case and adjust.

At one point I know I replaced & with and ...I wanted the input to be uniform, and I adjusted our Scimajo journal list the same. But now with openAlex stuff I realize that was a bad idea. Want me to find those regex spots and reverse them?
