The refresh-models probe (anonymous zen + go discovery, 85/37 live ids) found no mirror or enrichment drift — every live id is models.dev-cataloged except the known discovery-only jev-1.13* / omen-alpha. A docs-vs-extension routing audit across all 115 documented ids found exactly one mismatch:

  • minimax-m3.1-flash-free (Go): the Go MiniMax family fallback routes /^minimax-/ to /messages, but the Go docs endpoint table publishes chat/completions (@ai-sdk/openai-compatible — the Zen route is chat completions too).

Fix: carve the M3.1 generation out to chat-completions before the Go MiniMax fallback (/^minimax-m3\.1/), keeping M3 / M2.x on Messages where the Go docs table publishes that. Explicit models.dev SDK metadata still wins (pkg @ai-sdk/anthropic → messages), covered by tests.

The id is models.dev-cataloged with reasoning effort options (low→max) published 2026-10-19, so it flows into the picker through live discovery + enrichment automatically; this change only corrects which gateway shape is used.

Deliberate skips (unchanged from the 2026-10-16 decision): re-mirroring glm-5.1 / glm-5 from models.dev canonicals — the toggle-only reasoning options would regress the Go picker (live-verified 2026-10-09: the Go GLM backend rejects toggle/none).

Tests: 193 pass (+3 asserts). npx changeset status clean; npm run package green.

The 2026-10-20 docs-endpoint audit found exactly one routing mismatch: the Go minimax family fallback sent MiniMax M3.1 Flash Free to /messages while the docs table publishes chat completions. Add an M3.1-generation carve-out; explicit SDK metadata still wins.
