Summary

  • License: dual MIT/Apache-2.0 with LICENSE-MIT and LICENSE-APACHE
  • Cargo.toml: removed publish = false, added license, readme, rust-version = "1.65", exclude list
  • MSRV: verified 1.65.0 compiles, added CI job
  • Removed Docker: deleted Dockerfile and docker-compose.yml — unnecessary for a pure Rust library; CI uses dtolnay/rust-toolchain directly
  • Makefile: simplified to use cargo directly instead of docker compose; git hooks now opt-in via make setup
  • README: added Semantics section (overwrite contract, FIFO, monotonic gaps, accounting invariant, SPSC-only) and License section

Test plan

  • cargo test — all 34 tests pass
  • cargo clippy -- -D warnings — clean
  • cargo package --list — no fuzz targets or CI artifacts in published crate
  • cargo publish --dry-run — clean
