Summary

Draft docs PR based on #390 (cursor/reset-audit-fixes-9283). Ships a Jekyll GitHub Pages product docs site and a slim README that points readers at the site — not a research workspace on Pages.

Wedge cut (this stream):

  • Awesome (docs/awesome.md, nav label Awesome, URL /awesome/) — Trustpilot-style heights / proof page: milestones, editorial write-ups, adoption sample, and honest feedback. Not an exhaustive “where we were mentioned” listicle.
  • Stripped from shipped docs — entire docs/coverage/ tree (scout/lane/quarry parallel pages), docs/ideas.md, and nav/links to those paths. Maintainer research deltas stay in repo-root reseter-coverage/ only (not published by Jekyll).

Release target: next npm version 3.0.0. Version strings / CDN pins in docs and README are aligned on this branch. CSS product changes stay on #390.

Docs scope

  • Jekyll site under docs/ — getting started, usage (HTML/CDN, package managers, frameworks, full vs mini, performance), rule-by-rule reference, comparison, build outputs, Awesome, 404, Pages workflow (.github/workflows/docs.yml).
  • Slim README — install, CDN pin, link to Pages docs, build table; long guides live on the site.
  • Not on the public site: coverage reports, methodology dumps, scout/lane packs (removed from docs/).
  • Not in this PR: CSS / reset audit product changes (#390).

Test plan

  • bundle exec jekyll build in docs/ succeeds on the branch
  • pnpm run build on the branch
  • Version / CDN mentions aligned to 3.0.0 on this branch
  • Spot-check Pages preview (home nav, Awesome, usage, reference) after deploy

Note: Rebased onto cursor/reset-audit-fixes-9283 at 6a66112; supersedes the accidentally auto-merged #391 record after branch restore.

The PR appears safe to merge; no blocking issue remains.

Summary

This PR adds two entries to the Awesome page and corrects framework examples in the getting-started guide.

  • Adds Grafana Pyroscope and Eddie Jaoude references.
  • Shows separate Svelte 5 and Svelte 4 examples.
  • Explains that Rails import maps cannot load CSS through JavaScript imports.
  • No new actionable issues were found since the previous review.

Replay the Jekyll docs PR on the latest #390 stack (8787b7c → 51f19c3
changes). Keeps 3.0.0 CDN/npm documentation and Impact at /awesome/.
Take package.json and pnpm-lock.yaml from cursor/reset-audit-fixes-9283
unchanged. Docs now describe src/*.css and Lightning CSS instead of Sass.
Document reseter.css and reseter.css/mini imports; remove dist/src
subpath examples that bundlers reject. Add exports table; no package.json changes.
Rails vendors as reseter.css for require reseter; Django, Parcel,
Eleventy, WordPress, and get-started copy steps match link paths.
Eleventy layout uses the url filter for pathPrefix; get-started HTML
uses a relative app stylesheet and points to framework helpers.
Switch get-started and Parcel static examples to /styles.css and
/css/index.min.css; clarify subpath sites need framework helpers.
Use Awesome as the page title and nav/home label; keep /awesome/ URL.

  • P1 Release settings disappear .releaserc.js:14 ▶

Deleting .releaserc.js leaves the existing pnpm release command using the default semantic-release plugins. Those omit @semantic-release/changelog and @semantic-release/git. Future releases will no longer update CHANGELOG.md, commit the version bump, or attach the configured CSS files to GitHub releases. Restore the configuration or move it to another supported location.
