Implements docs/specs/0.3.0-recording-fixes.md, parts A to F, plus docs and the minor version bump (0.2.1 to 0.3.0).

Commits (one per part, in order):

  • d7bbb47 fix(playback): allow recorded video from the asset protocol (Part A)
  • 4a7c44f fix(camera): close with the recorder, clip to shape, add glyphs and drag (Part B)
  • 583a304 feat(recorder): record the camera as its own track and edit it in Studio (Part C)
  • 8adfa90 feat(recorder): follow the display's native frame rate and scale bitrate (Part D)
  • 8e22f99 feat(recorder): fit the dock in one row and keep a dragged position (Part E)
  • c8b9c2e feat(recorder): save recordings in a configurable Videos folder (Part F)
  • docs commits and chore(release): v0.3.0

Highlights: recordings play back; camera bubble closes, clips, drags and records its own track editable in Studio; Native frame rate; one-row draggable dock; Videos\CapKit recordings folder with a Settings row; four-column Recordings grid.

Checks on the final tree: typecheck, lint, 33 files / 318 tests, cargo fmt, clippy -D warnings, cargo test (54 passed, 4 ignored), version:check 0.3.0 consistent, bundle:windows NSIS setup 3.7 MB.

Do not merge yet: manual checks (camera shape by eye, one-row dock on 1366px, Studio sync/export, Videos\CapKit in Settings) are for the user. No real-device recording runs were possible in this session.

The overlay camera previously burned into the capture. It now records
a separate camera track that Studio can reposition, resize, toggle,
and seek in sync with the screen video.

High-refresh displays can now record at their native rate (floored at
60 fps, capped by what H.264 level 5.2 allows at the capture size),
and the encoder bitrate scales with the frame rate up to 80 Mbps.
Settings saved before Native existed still parse.

The setup phase is a single row: grip, icon-only modes, source
trigger, region redraw, split audio buttons with device menus, camera
toggle, an options popover for quality and countdown, then close and
record. One popover opens at a time; Escape and outside clicks close it
and return focus. A dragged dock keeps its bottom-centre point on later
fits instead of snapping back.

New installs record into Videos\CapKit instead of the temp folder, and
Settings shows a Saved recordings row with choose, open and reset. The
preferences file now carries both folders, so saving one never erases
the other, and the asset scope follows the recordings folder across
restarts. The Recordings grid matches Screenshots at four columns.

…otes

Camera, native frame rate and the recordings folder are now described
as built. Decisions cover the CSP media-src widening, the H.264 level
cap and the camera handshake timeout, with user-facing notes for 0.3.0.
