Before release, run one command that builds the download twice and exercises the source CLI and single-file build in fresh processes against eleven controlled scenarios. It checks evidence grading, exit codes, JSON/text reports, preserved inputs, snapshot cleanup, optional real Candiru rule matches, and source/download agreement. Optional website input adds the existing page-flow matrix and verifies both the displayed/copied candidate checksum. No real browser profiles or OS collectors are scanned by fixture scans.
Existing CI jobs now run these fixtures on Windows/macOS/Linux with YARA-X and Python 3.8 without it. TESTING.md documents setup, the command, explicit skips, scope limits and a short release checklist. Scanner runtime code and published artifacts are unchanged.
Validation: 281 unit/regression tests, all 22 source/download scenario runs and local website checks passed in about nine seconds with the pinned engine. Negative checks rejected a wrong finding exit code, altered staged scanner, missing required engine, caught network attempt, stale displayed checksum hidden by a correct hash in a comment, and stale copy value. All 19 CI jobs passed for exact commit 99ce494. Independent Astra recheck approved the corrected gate with no remaining blocker.
