A filesystem provider can expose a POSIX attribute view whose reads are denied or unsupported. Validate the existing canonical ancestor through that view before creating directories, retaining NOFOLLOW_LINKS and avoiding mount discovery.

Add four provider regression tests covering missing mount metadata, denied and unsupported permission reads, and canonical aliases.

Validation:

  • Full Gradle build on macOS ARM64 and Linux x64 with Java 21: 77 tests discovered per platform, zero failures/errors (platform fixture skips only).
  • macOS ARM64: complete suite also passed on Java 8 and 11, using the real native loader probe.
  • GitHub Actions run 40314747375 passed all macOS, Linux, and Windows x64 Java 8/11/21 jobs, plus Windows ARM64 Java 17. Publication was skipped.
