Mechatronics engineer in Melbourne. I work across robotics, sensor fusion, control systems and automotive electronics. I like being close to the hardware: building it, testing it and iterating it to run efficiently.

Autonomous Mining Vehicle Localisation
UKF sensor fusion (IMU + LiDAR AMCL + GPS) in ROS that keeps a vehicle localised when GPS drops out in tunnels. Error grew about 3× slower than LiDAR alone in simulation. Tested on a custom robot.
ROS UKF Gazebo LiDAR SLAM Python
Lexus Special Projects: Automotive R&D Internship
VIP lounge seat conversion and off road kit for a Lexus LX570, plus PID controlled extending walls for a truck mounted mobile showroom. Real vehicles, delivered to clients.
Wiring harness ECU diagnostics Arduino PID control Fusion 360
Autonomous Plant Monitoring Robot
Wheel odometry error model (6.1 cm/m drift), odometry and vision fusion, mission logic and LiDAR obstacle stopping. Cut detection turnaround from 30–60 s to under 5 s.
ROS Sensor fusion Odometry LiDAR YOLO Python
Prusa MK4S Design for Manufacture
Redesigned printer parts for CNC, injection moulding and sheet metal, then inspected the fabricated parts against tolerances. Y axis assembly took 18 min against 37 min predicted.
