A front-end prototype for a code-scanning tool: developers paste a JavaScript snippet or drop a .zip file, and the app is designed to send it to an AWS backend for automated security and code-quality analysis.
This is a UI prototype. The interface (textarea input, drag-and-drop zip upload, results panel with pass/fail styling) is fully built and functional in the browser. The AWS integration is not deployed yet — the "Scan Code" button calls a placeholder endpoint and falls back to a simulated response so the UI can be demoed end-to-end before the backend exists.
- Frontend — static HTML/CSS/JS (this repo), handles code paste and
.zipdrag-and-drop. -
- API layer — AWS API Gateway + Lambda, receiving the pasted code or uploaded file and running static analysis.
-
-
Storage — S3 for uploaded
.zipfiles awaiting analysis. -
-
Response — structured result (pass/fail status, security findings, code-quality score) rendered back into the results panel.
-
Deploy the Lambda function and API Gateway endpoint, replace the placeholder URL in
index.html(marked with aTODO) with the real endpoint, and wire up S3 for zip file storage.
Built the front-end for an AWS-backed code scanner — paste-or-upload UI with drag-and-drop
.zipsupport and a results dashboard — with the Lambda/API Gateway backend integration in progress.Update this once the AWS backend is deployed and connected — at that point this becomes a genuine full-stack AWS project worth a stronger CV line.
