I co-lead the Filesystems Working Group and need to open SEP pull requests against the specification repository. That repository limits pull request creation to collaborators, which GitHub defines as users with write access or higher. Working group teams only get triage there, so working group leads cannot open pull requests today. Adding me to the maintainers role grants push on the specification repository, which is how other working group maintainers have access.

That repository limits pull request creation to collaborators, which GitHub defines as users with write access or higher. Working group teams only get triage there, so working group leads cannot open pull requests today without further permissions.
Adding me to the maintainers role grants push on the specification repository, which is how other working group maintainers have access.
