Springfield is a Django project. Check out the django docs for general technical documentation. In addition, there are Springfield-specific instructions in the project's platform docs.

CMS_CHANGELOG.md records the changes CMS editors can see: new or modified
blocks, block fields, page types and snippets. Add a dated entry to the top of it in every PR that adds or modifies
