Description

Preserve logical SWAPs in target-independent and native circuits so QASM exports do not depend on Qiskit layout metadata. Native compilation also uses the circuit width, allowing circuits larger than a supplied device when only its gate set is requested.

Extend the existing permutation/export and hardware-independence tests. Mapped compilation retains device capacity and routing. No new dependencies.

Validation: full test suite on Qiskit 2.2.3 and 2.6.0 (723 passed and 4 existing expected failures on each); uvx nox -s lint.

AI assistance: Codex helped implement and test these MQT Bench fixes and prepare this description.
