Runs on Mac fine, but not on Raspberry Pi

So I've installed Hivekit on my Macbook, and on my Raspberry Pi. When I run it from my Macbook, everything is fine, I can add the bridge etc. to Home on my iPhone. However, when I run it from my Pi, it seems to shoe its running OK, but when I try to search for a new accessory, there is nothing new to add ( the Macbook is off, so HIvekit is not running from there, the previous bridge etc. have been deleted from Home).

Im fairly new to all this, could it be because Ive got Homebridge running on the Raspberry Pi and that is interfering with HIvekit?

I have it running on my Raspberry Pi without issues, Having Homebridge running on there could be an issue as I avahi daemon could be running the same port as HAP and would be binding to the same port.

Run a sudo lsof -i udp:5353 command from a terminal to see what is happening.

If you use a program such as iNet scanner on your iphone you should be able to see the HAP bonjour service running on the raspberry Pi.
