❓ Type of change

  • 📖 Documentation (updates to the documentation or readme)
  • 🐞 Bug fix (a non-breaking change that fixes an issue)
  • 👌 Enhancement (improving an existing functionality)
  • ✨ New feature (a non-breaking change that adds functionality)
  • 🧹 Chore (updates to the build process or auxiliary tools and libraries)
  • ⚠️ Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)

📚 Description

Docs-only pull requests here run full CI, because the pull_request trigger has no paths-ignore. Only the push trigger on main filters docs, at the event level.

The reusable workflow now skips lint, typecheck, build and test when only ignored paths change. A skipped job reports as passed, so the required checks still report (harlan-zw/nuxt-seo#675). This removes the push filter, and docs-only pull requests now skip those jobs too. The ignore list stays **/README.md and docs/**, the reusable workflow's default.

🤖 AI disclosure: Harlan Agent Kit modified this description. My AI open-source policy.

An event-level paths-ignore skips the whole workflow on a docs-only push,
so the ci / build, lint, test and typecheck checks never report. The
reusable workflow now skips those jobs itself and they report as passed
(harlan-zw/nuxt-seo#675).

How this is measured
  • Compare the same app with and without the module.
  • Client: all emitted JS/CSS, summed per-file gzip. This includes lazy chunks.
  • Server: deployed files, including external dependencies. Source maps are excluded.
  • Default module settings, Node server preset. Memory and request speed are outside this report.
