This repository has moved. The PBDB2 API now lives in api/ of the backend monorepo:

It moved on 2026-10-01 with its full history (commits rewritten under api/), alongside the DDL
(db/), the payload schemas (payloadSchemas/) and the migrations (migrations/). This repository is
read-only; open issues and pull requests against pbdb2-backend instead. Commit hashes cited from this
repository's history remain valid here.
