Refs #223

What

Fills the Codex rows and Cursor's connect row in tests/CLIENTS.md, on main (a0f8676): the 1.5.1 zip with #334's files on top.

Results

  • Codex 0.157.0, key and sign-in: every step passes. It reads the site, previews a trash and asks before confirming, and refuses at Read only with a link to AI apps. Sign-in uses its client metadata document and reports codex-mcp-client 0.157.0.
  • Codex asks its own approval before a destructive tool, so a headless run with approvals off refuses delete-post before Saddle sees it. The run passed that one tool through to test Saddle's gate; the doc says how.
  • Cursor (cursor-agent 2026.01.23): connects, "ready", 69 tools at Edit content. Read and the gated write wait on a Cursor sign-in.

Still open on #223

Cursor's read, write and sign-in (needs a Cursor sign-in), Gemini CLI (not installed, needs a Google sign-in), Claude (web) and ChatGPT (need an HTTPS address they can reach).

Testing

Docs only. Nothing in tests/ ships in either zip.

Codex 0.157.0 by key and by sign-in pass every step on main (a0f8676):
read, a gated trash that previews and asks first, and the Read only
refusal. cursor-agent connects and lists 69 tools; asking it anything
waits on a Cursor sign-in. Also how to run both headless.
