Neither requires the other. They detect each other and stand back, so the classic <head>
is written exactly once.
WordPress 6.6+, PHP 7.4+. Two features sit above that floor and degrade honestly when absent: agent abilities need WP 6.9, and AI drafting needs WP 7.0's AI client plus a provider you configure yourself.
One: the AI provider you configure in WordPress, used only when you ask for a suggestion. No licensing server, no analytics, no phone-home.
