Follow-up to #653

I'm opening an issue to detail some steps I would like to take in the wake of merging and soon to release #653.

It's a really exiting feature and it's not completely final but it's a huge step forward. You can follow the documentation in the readme now and get https working. You may need to install mkcert on Linux and MacOS, and you may also need to install nss on MacOS as well.

Things to follow-up on after the next release:

• pygmy status should show HTTPS is working.
• Make haproxy work with https
• Save the certificate path into config so that the parameter is only needed to be parsed once.
• Update docs for nss installations on MacOS.
• Fix CI tests again.

I will add more here should they come to mind.
