Issue/540 Add back() to the response redirect API - #621
Added Response::back(array $data = [], int $code = 302) in src/Http/Traits/Response/Header.php. It redirects to the request referrer and falls back to base_url() when there is none, when it is empty, or when it is not on the application origin.
The origin is the scheme, host and port of the referrer compared with those of base_url(); the path and query are not compared. A referrer with userinfo (user@), a backslash, or no scheme or host falls back too.
When $data is not empty, back() stores it under ReservedKeys::PREV_REQUEST, as redirectWith() does, so old() returns it after the redirect. Without data the session is left alone, so earlier old input is kept.
Added the back(array $data = [], int $code = StatusCode::FOUND) helper in src/Http/Helpers/http.php, which returns response()->back($data, $code), for symmetry with redirect() and redirectWith().
Added the Unreleased section with the entry to CHANGELOG.md.
Why
Controllers, middlewares and templates repeat redirect(get_referrer() ?? base_url()) and redirectWith(get_referrer() ?? base_url(), $data). The fallback is now one contract in the response layer: response()->back(), or the back() helper. The argument order follows redirectWith($url, $data, $code).
The Referer header comes from the client, so back() does not redirect to it blindly: an external referrer would make any endpoint that calls back() an open redirect.
Breaking changes
None. back() is new, and redirect(), redirectWith(), get_referrer() and old() are unchanged.
Testing
New tests in tests/Unit/Http/ResponseTest.php:
back() redirects to the referrer, keeping its path, query and fragment.
back() falls back to base_url() without a referrer, with an empty referrer, with an external one, with another port or scheme, and with malformed ones (not a url, /page, //attacker.example/page, https:///page, javascript:alert(1), a backslash, userinfo).
back() accepts a same-origin referrer with an upper-case host, an explicit default port, or no path, and with an https base URL.
back([], 301) sets the status code.
back($data) makes old() return the values, and back() without data keeps earlier old input.
New tests in tests/Unit/Http/Helpers/HttpHelperTest.php cover the back() helper: the referrer, the base_url() fallback with a status code, and old input.
ResponseTest now creates the request in setUp() and flushes the server in tearDown(), as HttpRequestHeaderTest does, so the referrer tests read a clean server.
Notes for reviewers
The back() helper was added after a review suggestion; the issue lists helper support as optional.
The same-origin check was added after a review finding about open redirects. The origin comes from base_url(), which is built from the request unless app.base_url is set. Behind a proxy that terminates TLS, or where the Host header is not pinned, app.base_url should be set; otherwise back() falls back to base_url(). This is in the changelog entry.
redirectWith() still sets the session itself, so that one line also exists in back().

If the project wants the same convenience pattern on the global helper layer, a back() helper could be added later for symmetry with redirect() and redirectWith(). It is not required for this PR to be correct or mergeable.
