ReflectionExtensions.IsSubClass Method

Determines whether the type derives from the specified check.

Type: System.Type
The type to test.
check
Type: System.Type
The type to compare with.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if the type derives from check; otherwise, false.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type Type. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

This method also returns false if type and the check are equal.
