An episode is kept in the release's numbering, and a list numbers it as its service models the work. resolve turns one into the other for one backend, and the first of these that answers decides:

  1. a pin of that episode of that show;
  2. the entry the list links the show to, where the episode is within its count;
  3. a rule of anime-relations that takes the episode;
  4. the entry, where an episode past the count is numbered by the hundred, as 101 for episode 1, and the count holds it;
  5. the entry, where the list holds no count and the episode is above zero.

Otherwise the episode is unresolved, with the reason. The rules are compiled in from erengy/anime-relations@1eae4b6, version 1.3.0, with its CC0 license beside them.

plan says what seeing an episode writes: the whole entry, with its status, progress, rewatches and the days it was started and completed, or nothing and why. day_in names the day of an instant in a time zone, through the new jiff dependency of benshi-daemon.

cargo test --workspace passes, 1257 tests.

Plans what a viewing writes, and names its day in a time zone.
