App bar and navigation elements overlap the screen contents

Steps to Reproduce

Using the v7.1.0 SDK while targeting Android SDK 36

Expected Behavior

App bar and navigation elements shouldn't be covering buttons and UI elements

Actual Behavior

Key buttons and information is hidden under App bar and navigation elements

Android Version(s)

Tested on Android 16

• SumUp Air (behaviour is independant of device)

Could you let us know if you're integrating the SDK using Flutter? At the moment, we don't officially support Flutter integrations, so it would be helpful to understand your setup.

Also, could you try reproducing the issue using the latest version of our Android sample app? That will help us determine whether the problem is in the SDK itself or specific to your integration.

Currently we access the SumUp SDK directly through the Android project (MainActivity) with the exact same implementation we would use in a native Android project. I have loaded up the emulator with the Android sample and it has the same overlapping behaviour we're seeing in our current Flutter app

I can confirm that we were able to reproduce this issue. We’re currently investigating it and will include a fix in the next release.

In the meantime, here’s some additional context:

• All screens are working as expected on mobile devices across all Android versions, as well as on tablets running Android versions below Android 16.

• On tablets running Android 16+, only this particular screen is affected in landscape mode, where it is rendered underneath the toolbar. All other screens continue to work as expected in landscape mode, and this screen also behaves correctly in portrait mode.

If you're targeting mobile devices, tablets running Android versions below 16, or if this specific screen is only used in portrait mode, everything should work correctly, and you can safely continue using the current version.
