Summary

Adds docs/agent-fleet/README.md and docs/agent-fleet/agent-fleet.svg, a guide for tensor4all developers who want to run many coding agents themselves.

  • Architecture: human (laptop or phone, same session), one orchestrator Claude Code session, herdr on each remote machine with Claude Code and pi agents, GitHub, a private state repository.
  • Step-by-step setup: Tailscale, a dedicated tailnet-only SSH key and Host aliases, herdr machine add, orchestrator commands, agent naming, starting Claude and pi agents, model policy.
  • Orchestrator operating rules, generalized.
  • Recovery state layout and the resume procedure.
  • The structure of the maintainer's rule set (global CLAUDE.md, per-repo AGENTS.md, auto-memory, a private advisor repository), without its private contents.
  • Security notes.

Machines appear only by role (host-a, host-b, host-c). The README links the page under a new "Guides" section. rules/index.md does not list docs, so it is unchanged.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Add docs/agent-fleet with a figure and a step-by-step guide to the
maintainer's setup: one orchestrator Claude Code session (also reachable
from a phone) driving herdr agents on several machines over Tailscale,
the orchestrator operating rules, the recovery state layout, the
structure of the maintainer's rule set, and security notes. Link it
from the README.

The pi repository moved from badlogic/pi-mono to earendil-works/pi; herdr is herdrdev/herdr (herdr.dev).

- SSH: passphrase key in ssh-agent/keychain, passphrase-less fallback,
  from="100.64.0.0/10" restriction, password login off.
- herdr: real install command, machine add behavior and labels, server
lifecycle with an optional systemd user unit, documented command forms,
pane split plus agent start example.
- GitHub: gh auth per machine, ruleset to enforce orchestrator-only merges,
separate agent account, no crates.io token on agent hosts.
- pi: install, Node.js requirement, login, skill and session paths.
- Scheduled rounds (/loop, CronCreate) and their limits, Remote Control
steps and requirements, cost and limits note.
- Skeleton handoff.md, monitoring.md entry, first orchestrator prompt.
- Consistent "a human plus two levels of agents" wording; SVG updated.
