When using the QDAC1 qcodes-contrib-driver, each channel has a Mode enum that has namedtuple values. When this was serialized by instrumentserver, it converted the tuple to a list, which was then deserialized as a list that threw an error when trying to reconstruct the Mode enum.
This fix handles specific cases where you are deserializing an enum whose value is a list and ensures you reconstruct the correct value type.
