run_tool time O(bytes) -> O(bytes + words^2): the app composes O(bytes) tokenization with the declared-quadratic wordfreq_summary call. The app-level disclosure omitted the quadratic work (WF-COST-1). split_spaces/write_word why text: remove stale pre-#13 commentary claiming loop variables cannot supply Text proof (fixed by PR #30); replace with each helper's actual current purpose. Annotation-only: zero does: lines changed; no signature, behavior, algorithm, or allocation change. Codex independent review: ACCEPT.
