Combines the Dependabot updates #1–#6 into a single PR:
Release notes reviewed: the action majors move to Node 24/ESM; artifact v7/v8 keep zipped uploads/downloads by default (download v8 now fails on digest mismatch). No input changes affect these workflows. Core tests pass locally (80/80).
