Cause A (bash_test): test_deps_version reads .gitmodules, which is not in the build tree. The other checks in the script pass.

• Confirmed: the error line above, from the test's log.
• Not confirmed: why the file is missing from the tree.

Cause B (TestCubeRoot): the fast cube root differs from cbrtf() by slightly more than the test's tolerance.

• Confirmed: the same values on each target, and the AVX3_DL variant failed the same way in https://github.com/yacp-dev/dist/actions/runs/41294603216 , the run whose runner had that target.
• Not confirmed: which of the two values is off, and whether Cygwin's cbrtf() plays a part.

Not examined

• GaussBlurTest.SlowTestDirac1D: disabled by the test suite, not run.

bash_test checks the source tree, not the built library. For TestCubeRoot the cause is unconfirmed, and loosening the tolerance would only hide it.
