Dead mod?

Though unlikely itll get a response, I thought Id attempt reaching out anyway.

It seems that this mod is no longer being updated, and I have recently come back to Stardew Valley and wanting to use this mod again. Since it seems like nobody is updating it anymore or making any new content for it, is it alright if someone else worked on it by themselves? Dont currently have plans to make it public but there are a ton of changes I want to make for myself, that I wouldve liked to see in this mod, and it might become public eventually. Just wont want to be stepping on any toes

Short and sad answer is yes. Between 2 kids, an ill wife and a high stress job, I have not been able to devote any time to updating this. Truth be told, I'm actually not a huge Stardew Valley player to begin with; I made this repo more because, at the time, the coding challenge of resurrecting the mod sounded fun.

Please, feel free to fork it and modify to your heart's content. That was most of the point of posting it here, was so even if (when) it got abandoned again, it would be a lot easier to revive when someone had interest.

I do remember reading that progress slowed initially because obviously have a family life, I do wish yourself and your wife the best and a speedy recovery to her.

Truthfully Im in the same boat. Graduated not long ago and I feel like challenging myself with the idea that I had for a few years at this point, since last playing this mod. Just wanted to ask for permission so theres no problems down the line, thank you for getting back to me <3
