Following the organization-wide CI policy to reduce pressure on the shared runners (macOS in particular has a very low concurrency limit):
closedPR events: the resulting run cancels any in-progress run of the PR through the concurrency group, and the shared workflow skips all its jobs for it. GitHub does not cancel runs of closed or merged PRs by itself.The PR's own CI run checks the PR side of the new matrix (ubuntu only); the macOS/Windows side runs after merging.
