What

  • run_pipeline.sh, .ps1 and .bat get AUDIO_DIR and LABELS_CSV right under the dataset selection. Steps 1, 2 and 4 use them instead of repeating datasets/${DATASET_NAME}/soundscape_data and .../annotations.csv.
  • .gitignore ignores run_pipeline.local.*, so experiment settings can live in a personal copy and the tracked scripts (which the docs embed) stay clean.

The defaults are unchanged: same folders, same labels, same flags.

Checks

  • bash -n run_pipeline.sh passes.
  • Ran a copy of the new run_pipeline.sh end to end on 3 Northeastern-US test files (122 labels): all four steps finish, Just-Bird uses fusion with a 0.05 s phrase gap, micro F1 0.53 at the best threshold.
  • mkdocs build --strict passes; all three scripts render in Complete workflow script with the new variables.
  • .ps1 and .bat were not executed (no PowerShell/CMD here); the edits are the same three substitutions as in .sh.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

AUDIO_DIR and LABELS_CSV sit next to DATASET_NAME, so switching to another
audio folder or labels file is a two-line change instead of editing three
steps. Personal copies (run_pipeline.local.*) are gitignored.
